Project Description:

Mechanical plant energy efficiency and performance upgrade to Melbourne’s North Eastern primary school Gladstone Views.

Works included the decommissioning and removal of existing 40 year old gun fired gas Boiler, associated older control valves, plant controls and switchboards.

Air Control designed and retrofitted new high efficiency Meridian condensing boilers, new mechanical services switchboards along-side a new web based Johnson Controls building management system (BMS) to help achieve a steady balance of school comfort while maximising savings on energy and gas consumption.

Works were completed along-side a refurbishment to existing air handling units installing new variable speed drives (VSD’s) with complete air balancing and temperature sensor relocations to the entire school.
