Project Description:

Air Control was appointed by the Darebin City Council to undertake an air conditioning refurbishment to the iconic Arts Centre situation in Preston Victoria.

A large scale entertainment and arts facility Air Control undertook a staged decommission and removal of the existing air conditioning, electrical and associated plant and equipment.

In partnership with consultants FG Advisory Air Control installed and commissioned a multitude of new HVAC technologies and BMS control equipment to restore energy efficiency, optimise user operation to facility management and most importantly deliver thermal comfort to staff and patrons.

Air Control delivered a large scale Mitsubishi Electric VRF air conditioning system with ducted fan coil units to the Stage and Theater Atrium, Administration offices with new Rooftop Packaged Units to Dance Rooms and Main Public Foyer all controlled via an Innotech web based building control system.
